The little grey number is smaller numbers in purple used in the Planner view represent the difference between the baseline value and the requested or approved valuevalues, depending on the column.

In the example above, the Squad 100 currently has a baseline of 9.8 FTE. It’s requested an increase up to 18.8 FTE, hence the delta number for that columns shows +9. This request hasn’t (yet) been approved, hence the delta number for that column shows N/C.
