How to create a new tag type

Do you know the difference between tag types and tag values?

Tags in general is a TeamForm feature that allows us to categorise people and teams into a specific category.

  • Tag Types - This is the broad category of what the tag is about. eg: Transformation Roles

  • Tag Values - These are the values that fit under the broad category umbrella of the tag type. eg: Product Owner, Scrum Master, Transformation Leads

Within a single tag we can store additional data information which is often referred to as ‘tag attributes’. For example within a ‘Cost Centre’ tag, we may also want to store information on whether the cost centre is related to OPEX or CAPEX or the owner of the cost centre.
