Expanded scenario: Why do we need to worry about full-time equivalent (FTE)? Can’t I just allocate a person into a demand team?

Full-time equivalent (FTE) is used to track the ‘amount’ or proportion that a person is allocated into a demand team. A person may be allocated into multiple teams and they may dedicate different amounts of capacity to each team.
